Cody has been with LCOT since 2014. He was hired as both a GED and English Instructor. He coordinated and taught with many local businesses under Literacy Council’s offsite program. In 2021, he moved into the Community Resources position, where he worked to eliminate barrier in student’s lives that prevented them from attending classes. In 2023, he became Director of GED Services.
Cody earned his Associate of Arts degree from Kilgore College and his Bachelor’s in English.
He and his wife, Erin, met while working at LCOT and were married in 2022. He enjoys sunrises more than sunsets, rainy afternoons, pageantry when it borders on cheesiness, and falling asleep in sunbeams.
